i) For BPEL, edit pc.properties file under ORAHOME\bpel\system\service\config. Set the value for oracle.tip.adapter.file.numProcessorThreads. By default, it is set to 4.
ii) For ESB, rename ORAHOME\integration\esb\config\pc.properties.esb to pc.properties. Set the value for oracle.tip.adapter.file.numProcessorThreads.
For SOA installations, the pc.properties for BPEL takes precedence over that of ESB . In such cases, the values set in ORAHOME\bpel\system\service\config\pc.properties will suffice.
